“Remembering also institutes a kind of forgetting” (David Bate, 2010).

Bate suggests that to remember something one needs to let something go. For that reason, photography became my ally to memory. It allows me to look at the future and think about how do I want to remember the moments that pass across my lenses. It is a manner to narrate daily life, the life of a woman that navigates through the world. Photography gives me closeness to landscape, to people. Also, it produces a location for memory traces.
